The InvenSense MPU-6050 6-Axis Gyro Accelerometer Module is a PCB-mounted motion sensing module integrating a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a single chip. It features a built-in 16-bit ADC and Digital Motion Processor (DMP) for accurate motion tracking and sensor fusion. The module supports selectable acceleration ranges of ±2, ±4, ±8, and ±16 g, and gyroscope ranges of ±250, ±500, ±1000, and ±2000 °/s. It operates at 3–5 V and communicates via a simple I2C interface. With compact dimensions of approximately 20 × 15 mm, it is suitable for robotics, drones, wearable devices, and embedded motion control applications.
