Four toolheads. One print. The Snapmaker U1 swaps between four independent hot ends mid-print, so multi-color and multi-material parts come off the plate exactly as designed — no manual filament changes, no flushing one nozzle through a rainbow of purge blocks.
Built for speed, tuned by Klipper
Running Klipper firmware with 500 mm/s toolhead speeds and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration, the U1 moves fast and stays accurate. Input shaping cancels the ringing that speed usually costs you, and pressure advance keeps extrusion consistent through every corner.
Calibrates itself, every time
Mesh bed leveling, automatic toolhead offset alignment, flow compensation, and vibration calibration all run without you touching a wrench. Start a print and walk away.
Materials that grow with you
Out of the box it handles PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, and PCTG. Add the optional top cover for ABS, ASA, PA, and PC. Fit a hardened steel nozzle as well and you're printing carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced polymers on a 300 °C hot end.
Never lose a print
A built-in 2 MP chamber camera streams live video to the Snapmaker App while onboard sensors watch for filament runout, air printing, toolhead swap errors, and an obstructed or missing build plate. Power cut? The U1 picks up where it stopped.
Filament handling, automated
RFID recognition reads each spool automatically, auto-feed loads material without fuss, and backup mode switches to a fresh spool the moment one runs dry — so long jobs finish overnight instead of failing at 3 a.m.
