The Raspberry Pi Sense HAT V2 is a sensor expansion board designed for programming education and environmental interaction using Raspberry Pi computers. It integrates multiple sensors for motion, orientation, position, and environmental measurement, originally developed for the Astro Pi educational program aboard the International Space Station. The board is powered directly by the connected Raspberry Pi and operates through the 40-pin GPIO header. An officially supported Python library provides direct access to all onboard sensors, the LED matrix, and the joystick. It is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models featuring a 40-pin GPIO interface and is suitable for educational, research, and sensing applications.
