The Adafruit AMG8833 IR Thermal Camera Breakout is an 8×8 infrared thermal sensor module designed for temperature mapping and human detection applications. It uses the Panasonic AMG8833 Grid-EYE sensor to provide 64 individual temperature readings via the I2C interface. The module operates over a temperature range of 0 to 80 °C with ±2.5 °C accuracy and supports frame rates up to 10 Hz. An onboard 3.3 V regulator and logic level shifting ensure compatibility with both 3.3 V and 5 V microcontrollers. It is suitable for embedded systems, thermal imaging experiments, and educational projects using Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
