Bambu Lab and E3D share the vision of future manufacturing. Today, we condense this vision into a jointly developed product. The E3D high-flow replacement hotend can provide 60% more flow rate, features the signature ObXidian™ hardened nozzle, and E3DLC™ coating for excellent durability.

 

The new hotend is the result of seamless cooperation between E3D and Bambu Lab. Both teams shared precious know-how on the hotend, the printer, and the thermal process of the materials. The end product is thoroughly tested by both teams and will be officially integrated into all the software ecosystems of Bambu Lab.

Non-Stick Coating, Reduce the Risk of Nozzle Blobbing

The E3DLC™ coating is a thin, diamond-like layer applied via plasma, creating an ultra-smooth surface that significantly reduces plastic build-up on the nozzle. This non-stick property helps prevent nozzle blobs - especially useful when printing with sticky filaments like PETG.

Official-Tuned Printer Presets

In Studio/Handy, please ensure you have updated to the latest version before following the steps below:

For X and P series models, select the nozzle flow type as "High Flow", and proceed to select the filament normally to start printing.

When prompted that the printing parameters require fine-tuning, based on the "High Flow" nozzle type,

you can modify the corresponding filament parameters as well as the speed-related parameters in the process settings

according to the detailed parameters provided in the wiki.
