The Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 NOIR is an 8 MP camera designed for Raspberry Pi boards requiring imaging in low-light and infrared conditions. It uses the Sony IMX219 sensor and omits the infrared cut filter to enable near-infrared sensitivity. The module delivers stable image capture with a fixed-focus lens and full compatibility with the Raspberry Pi CSI interface. Its reliable construction supports continuous operation in embedded systems and research setups. It is suitable for night vision projects, computer vision development, surveillance prototypes, and educational imaging applications.
