The P1S comes bundled with the Bambu Lab AMS, so multi-color and multi-material printing works right out of the box — no separate purchase, no manual filament swaps. Add up to four AMS units down the line and you're printing with as many as 16 colors in a single job.
Enclosed, and ready for real materials
Unlike the open-frame P1P, the P1S ships fully enclosed in plastic and glass, with an activated carbon filter and closed-loop control over the chamber temperature-regulator, part-cooling, and control-board fans. That enclosure is what unlocks reliable ABS and ASA printing on top of the usual PLA and PETG.
Fast, and self-correcting
500 mm/s toolhead speed and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration are backed by active vibration compensation and pressure advance, so speed doesn't come at the cost of ringing or inconsistent extrusion. Automatic bed leveling, flow calibration, and vibration compensation all run before every print — plug it in, and it handles the rest.
Built to keep working
A filament run-out sensor and power-loss recovery mean a spool running dry or a mid-print outage doesn't mean starting over. A built-in chamber camera streams low-frame-rate monitoring and time-lapse capture to the Bambu Handy app, so you can check in from anywhere.
Set up in minutes
Assembly takes about 15 minutes out of the box, and the swappable, dual-sided textured PEI plate is ready to print on from the first layer.
