Description
The CD4026 is a CMOS integrated circuit that combines a decade counter with a built-in 7-segment display driver, allowing direct control of a common-cathode 7-segment display without requiring an external decoder. It counts incoming clock pulses from 0 to 9 and automatically updates the display output for each count. With a wide operating voltage range of 3V to 15V, low power consumption, and built-in control features such as clock inhibit and asynchronous reset, the 4026 is ideal for counters, event displays, digital clocks, and numeric display systems.
