Reinforced with Carbon Fiber for Industrial-Grade Strength
PA6-CF combines the toughness of Nylon 6 with the rigidity of carbon fiber, delivering the stiffness, strength, and heat resistance needed for demanding, load-bearing parts.
Engineered for Dry, High-Stress Environments
PA6-CF is formulated to hold its stiffness and mechanical strength best in dry conditions, where it also delivers excellent impact and vibration resistance. It's especially suited to parts that need to withstand collisions, drops, and repeated stress without deforming.
Matte, Industrial Finish
Carbon fiber gives PA6-CF a distinctive matte, low-sheen surface texture rather than a glossy finish, reflecting its focus on function over cosmetics, though it still hides layer lines well.
Built for Performance
Carbon fiber reinforcement boosts the stiffness, strength, and thermal resistance of standard PA6, with a heat deflection point up around 186°C. It's ideal for fixtures, jigs, clamps, automotive and robotics components, and other structural or engineering parts that need to survive high-stress, high-heat conditions.
Not Built for Wet Conditions
Unlike some nylons that get tougher with moisture, PA6-CF's rigidity and strength are optimized for dry storage and use, it's best kept and printed in low-humidity conditions rather than outdoor or damp environments.
Good to Know Before You Print
PA6-CF is abrasive, so use a hardened steel nozzle (0.6mm or larger), stainless steel and 0.2mm nozzles are not recommended, as the carbon fiber will wear them down quickly. It's highly moisture-sensitive: dry it thoroughly before printing and store it in a dry environment. Note: not compatible with AMS (including AMS Lite), this filament is intended for single-spool, external/dry-box printing.
