The TFMini Micro LiDAR Module is a compact unidirectional laser range finder based on time-of-flight (ToF) technology, capable of measuring distances from 0.3 m to 12 m. It provides high-precision distance data with a resolution of 5 mm, accuracy of 1% for distances under 6 m and 2% for 6–12 m, and a refresh rate of 100 Hz. The module operates at 4.5–6 V DC, consumes 0.6 W on average, and communicates via UART (TTL), making it compatible with Arduino and other microcontrollers. Its small size, low weight (4.7 g), and strong anti-light performance allow use in indoor and outdoor applications such as robotics, obstacle avoidance, autonomous vehicles, and altitude-hold drones. The 2.3° acceptance angle ensures precise distance measurement in targeted directions.
