The MQ-6 Gas Sensor Module is designed for detecting liquefied petroleum gas LPG, propane, and butane in air. It utilizes a SnO2 sensing element whose conductivity varies with combustible gas concentration, enabling reliable analog output measurement. Operating at 5V DC with an integrated heating element, it provides stable performance across a wide detection range of 300–10000 ppm. The module supports adjustable load resistance and simple signal conditioning circuitry, making it suitable for gas leakage alarms, safety monitoring systems, and embedded gas detection projects.
