A development board from Heltec based on a ESP32-S3 microcontroller by Espressif. Thanks to the built-in USB connector, it is easy to program. Things can be shown on the built-in OLED display. For extra connectivity, the board has multiple wireless communication interfaces (including Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/LoRa). Finally, the board has a battery connector where a Li-Po/Li-ion battery (not included) can be connected, which can also be charged via the board.
Compared to the V3, this version features upgrades like solar charging and increased storage capacity.
Note: Not all countries allow LoRa signals to be transmitted on 868MHz with a power of 28dBm (630mW, maximum of this module). In the Netherlands, for example, this maximum is 20dBm (100mW) around 868MHz (with the exception of between 869.40 - 869.65MHz, which may be a maximum of 27dBm (500mW)). Therefore, set the maximum transmission power in such a way that it complies with local laws and regulations.
