The Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR) is a thin-film pressure sensor designed to detect applied force through resistance variation. It features a 1.75 × 1.5 inch square sensing area and provides resistance values greater than 1 MΩ with no load, decreasing proportionally as force increases from 100 g to 10 kg. The sensor includes 0.1 inch pitch pins for direct breadboard integration and a peel-and-stick backing for secure mounting. Built for simple force detection, it is suitable for pressure sensing, touch interfaces, and embedded control applications where relative force measurement is required.
