This awesome CCTREE Wood Filament is manufactured to the standard 1.75mm 1kg spool size, but doesn’t carry the extreme cost that many Exotic Filaments often do. It is created from a base polymer of PLA, meaning that it’s relatively easy to print despite the unique qualities, and has been infused with around 30% wood particles so as to give a very novel surface finish. Once printed, this fantastic filament produces a surface that is very similar to balsa wood or light bamboo, but because this material can be 3D Printed, it can be crafted into extremely unique shapes and forms that would be nearly impossible or insanely difficult to produce with real wood.
If you’re eager to stretch your 3D Printing legs and try out some unique and novel filament that you’ve never tried before, but don’t want to make modifications just to enjoy an exotic filament, this CCTREE Wood Filament is an excellent place to start your journey into the world of weird, wonderful and Exotic Filaments.
Please Note: This factor is very unique to this particular filament, but it’s recommended to leave the print on the bed for half an hour to a full hour after printing. This will ensure enough time for the polymers to settle and the binding agents to take full effect, and will help prevent any unexpected warping or other effects that could ruin a perfectly good print.
